Acclaimed children's author and comedian David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.
A representative for the firm commented: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish additional books by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the move was reached following an review of reports of conduct deemed unsuitable involving young women.
The publisher did not confirm the reasons for its decision, adding: "We do not comment on private personnel issues."
Walliams stands as a most successful children's authors, having sold more than 60 million copies worldwide in 55 languages.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins in 2008.
A number of his works, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into television films.
He has published more than 40 books in total, encompassing a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins in October.
His career breakthrough occurred on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE several years ago in recognition of his work for charity and the arts.
This move occurs subsequent to the appointment of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's recent CEO in October.
