On Monday, the tribunal was told phone records and information retrieved from phones recorded Ms Wandelt repeatedly asking Madeleine's mother for a biological test over that period.

Madeleine's vanishing in 2007 - as a three-year-old during a family holiday in Portugal - is among the most widely reported investigations and remains unsolved.

'I Don't Want Money'

One recorded message, played in court, recorded Ms Wandelt stating: "I understand I'm heavy and plain like Madeleine had been, but I know what I feel."

While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's monologues with Mrs McCann's recording stated: "Imagine there is a slight possibility that I am she? What happens next? Is that not important for you?"

"I don't want money, I maintain a existence here in Poland, I just want to know," she added.

The panel was informed that by means of electronic messages, SMS messages and communications, Ms Wandelt demanded a DNA test, sent childhood photos to her phone in a attempt to display a resemblance to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and claimed to have "memories" from a youth with the McCanns.

The investigator, an investigator with law enforcement who gathered the information, informed the court there "showed no any responses" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also contacted close associates of the McCanns, as per the communication logs.

On October 9th, 2024, Gerry McCann answered a phone call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "the wrong phone."

During that incident Ms Wandelt left a voicemail on Mrs McCann's voicemail stating "I will continue and I plan to establish my point."

The court learned the co-defendant established a relationship through digital means with Ms Wandelt preceding assisting her on a appearance to the McCanns' home in Leicestershire in last December.

Phone records showed Mrs Spragg had reached out via communication app to Mrs McCann to state the press had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "mentally unstable" but that she ought to be treated respectfully in the months before the appearance to Rothley, Leicestershire, in that winter.

The court was told message exchanges between the two individuals, in November 2024, discussing attempting to obtain Mrs McCann's biological evidence from her bins or from utensils at a restaurant.

"We must assert ourselves," the co-defendant told Ms Wandelt.

On the evening of the visit to their residence, the defendant dispatched a communication which said: "We find ourselves sitting adjacent to the McCanns' residence with our headlights off like investigators. I desired to do this with another person I didn't imagine I would be involved in this with the McCanns."

The trial continues.
